I recently lost about 20 lbs (gone from size 14/16 to possibly size 10 now, I'm unsure exactly) and needed a belt to give me some time before having to buy new jeans. This belt is thin and textured. The shade of brown is warm. The buckle gives a more country look to it, as it looks a bit worn. So far, I love it! It doesn't dig into my sides when standing or sitting and I forget that I'm wearing it, so it's definitely comfortable. The sizing chart indicates that it runs smaller than it truly does. I was concerned getting a size 29/30 as it was the largest available and I was afraid it wouldn't fit, but either I'm now smaller than I realize or the sizing chart could be updated. I'm able to comfortably use the 4th hole in.

This is a nice belt. My only problem with it is that the leather is probably a little bit too thin. I wear a belt on my jeans. This belt has a tendency to fold at the belt loops in back. So, I am using it with skirts and dresses. The price was so good - so maybe the thinner leather is ok. I had wanted a belt for my jeans but this also works well with one of my southwestern-style dresses and two of my long skirts. The buckle is lovely. I am tempted to taker the leather off and buy a strap and redo the buckle into a better belt.

The leather is a little raw-feeling, which is perhaps a result of the tanning process, but I do prefer it over the fake leather you often see these days. Comfortable to wear with jeans, and fits true to size. Belt buckle has a good weight. I like the way the whole thing looks, but it is a particular style that won't go with all pants or appeal to everyone.Overall it's a nice real leather belt, and if you like the way it looks in the photos then what you see is what you get, so I'd recommend giving it a try.
